Lissa Hilsee

The Founder of Greater Philadelphia Cares, the region's largest non-profit volunteer management organization, Lissa served as the organization's CEO from 1994-2007. Under her leadership, the organization galvanized the support of thousands of volunteers and the active support of the Mayor, Governor and other local and national political figures. She designed value-added partnerships with businesses, non-profit and government agencies that earned the organization the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce's first non-profit of the year award.

Prior to founding Greater Philadelphia Cares, Lissa was a Vice President with UBS Financial Services where she managed investment portfolios in excess of 38 million dollars.

She was named an American Memorial Marshall Fellow by the German Marshall Fund and was identified as one of 101 Key Connectors by Leadership Philadelphia.

Frankie brings 25 years of accomplishments in areas as diverse as operations, finance, marketing, public relations, and strategic planning in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Over the course of her 13 year tenure with Greater Philadelphia Cares, she led the organization's branding and communications strategy and assumed responsibility for administration, programming and community partnerships. Her expertise in project design and management coupled with a creative approach were key to the organization's growth and success.

She previously held senior marketing positions with Avon Canada, and was part of the core team that developed and launched QVC's first e-commerce website.
